1. About these terms
These terms govern the Wired/Different online platform, membership and regular virtual activity, operated by WIRED/DIFFERENT LTD (Company No. 16604038), registered in England and Wales.
Separately ticketed in-person activity may be operated by WIRED/DIFFERENT EVENTS CIC (Company No. NI739807), a Community Interest Company registered in Northern Ireland. The event listing and booking information identify the relevant activity and any extra conditions.
2. Ages and eligibility
- The minimum age is 8.
- Wired Juniors is for ages 8–15.
- Wired Seniors is for ages 16+.
- For anyone under 16, a responsible parent or guardian must be involved in joining, accepting these terms, managing billing and giving any required permissions.
- Individual events may have additional age restrictions. An event marked 18+ remains strictly 18+.
The current platform does not yet technically enforce a separate responsible-adult account for Juniors. Please contact us before creating a Junior membership while that work is completed.
3. Membership and payment
Membership includes a seven-day free trial and then costs £15 per month unless cancelled. Stripe processes payments and shows the amount and first payment date before confirmation. The subscription continues automatically after the trial unless it is cancelled.
You can cancel renewal through your account. Access normally continues to the end of the paid period. Your statutory rights are not affected.
4. Events and bookings
Check the event’s age group, location or online format, access information, price and cancellation information before booking. A booking must use accurate attendee information. Invitations and presale codes may only be used by eligible accounts and must not be shared publicly.
5. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully, respectfully and in line with the Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy. Do not harass others, share another person’s private information, attempt to bypass access controls, or record a session without clear permission.
6. Suspending access
We may restrict or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect participants, respond to a serious safeguarding concern, prevent misuse or address a breach of these terms. Urgent safeguarding action does not need to follow a warning-first process.
7. Content and availability
Wired/Different materials may not be copied or redistributed without permission. We work to keep services available and information accurate, but events and online services may occasionally change or be interrupted.
