Wired/Different is a neurodivergent-affirming community for Wired Juniors aged 8–15 and Wired Seniors aged 16+, alongside events with clearly stated age limits. You do not need to mask or join in one particular way.
2. Help the space feel safe
- Be kind and respect names, identities, boundaries and different communication styles.
- Give people room to speak, pause, use chat or simply be present.
- Keep personal stories and contact details private unless the person clearly agrees to sharing.
- Do not record, photograph or screenshot sessions without clear permission.
- Follow reasonable safety guidance from hosts and ask if something is unclear.
3. What is not okay
Harassment, bullying, discrimination, hate speech, sexual or explicit content, grooming, threats, deliberate disruption, impersonation, scams, pressuring someone for private contact, or sharing private information without permission are not accepted.
4. How we respond
We will consider context and support needs. A reminder or warning may be appropriate, but serious or repeated concerns can lead to immediate restriction or removal. Safeguarding concerns may be referred to the appropriate services without a warning-first stage.
