What is Wired/Different?
Wired/Different is a neurodivergent-affirming community with supported online groups and inclusive in-person events.
What ages is Wired/Different for?
Wired/Different welcomes members from age 8. Wired Juniors is for ages 8–15, and Wired Seniors is for ages 16+. Some events have their own age limits, which are shown clearly before booking.
How do Junior accounts work?
For anyone under 16, a responsible parent or guardian should be involved in joining, agreeing to the terms and managing payment. Our current account system is being developed to support that model more fully, so please contact us before creating a Junior membership.
Do I need to disclose a diagnosis to join?
No. You do not need to provide a diagnosis or proof of diagnosis.
How much does membership cost?
Membership is £15 per month after a seven-day free trial. Regular online member events are included; separately ticketed events show their price before booking.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel renewal through your account. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
Is my camera required?
Interactive group sessions normally require cameras to remain on as a safeguarding and identity measure. Your microphone starts muted and you never have to speak. Presentation audiences join with cameras off. Technical issues, brief breaks and accessibility adjustments can be discussed with the host; see the camera-on policy.
How do I join an event?
Open the event listing to check its age group, format, price and access information, then follow the booking instructions. Online joining links appear in your account after booking.
